Marie-Josee Lavoie is the Founder and President of GreenCompete Inc., a management consulting firm specialised in marketing and business development collaborations for organisations to grow and compete in today’s economy.
Her background encompasses a wide range of management roles in the areas of strategic planning, business development, marketing, alliances and partnerships and corporate responsibility in the private sector, including work at Shell Canada, Hewlett Packard and Bell Aluminium, and public sector organizations such as Environment Canada, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the United Nations in New York and the OECD in Paris.
Marie-Josee is a strategic and creative thinker. She holds an Executive MBA (with a specialization in marketing) from University of Ottawa and a bachelor degree in political science (with a specialization in international relations) from University of Quebec in Montreal. She is a member of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) and helped found the Toronto Chapter in 2007. Marie-Josee was a board member from 2007-2010.
